hawwwwwwww

its been awhile since I have written about my roller derby league..mainly because we have been practicing our asses off. The league started with 3 skaters -- 2 from Connecticut Roller Girls and one from Gotham Girls. Now we added 2 more experienced skaters one from LI Roller Rebels and one from Assassination City Roller Derby. Starting with a league of experienced skaters has been awesome---the new girls who never skated are learning the game fast--and are kicking ass. We have only been at this a little over 2 months and I think we are going to be a pretty tough league. I guess time will tell, and once we start scrimmaging other leagues we will see where we stand.

Westchester is a great location and needs Roller Derby---only problem is that the majority of rinks are ice rinks...so we are having a fundraiser this weekend August 18th--a night of roller skating to punk music, tons of games and prizes that have been donated to us. People are who come to the event will basically have a great night skating, see what derby is about--and walk away with some excellent prizes..and people who want to continue the night partying can follow us to our after party---we are keeping the location secret--basically so people that support us at the event will have the location and ability to get the first round of shots poured by roller girls at an enormous discount!

thats it for now--
